Assuming this was some sort of protest, and it defies logic to think otherwise, the perpetrators are half wits and another example of people who think that attacking the rights of other people is OK. Well it isn't!
In the unlikely event that it was something else it is equally unacceptable. Tony

That attack on the farmer with the destruction of his irrigator is
senseless and wanton destruction of private property.
Its an attack on New Zealand.
How, I wonder, would that perp (once we find out who he is) feel if some unhappy person destroyed his house or car or anything he has of value.
I look forward to him/her/it getting caught and taken to court so we can
see who or what it is

Wow, how insightful of you when considering your defending of other morons who "demonstrate" by preventing others from carrying out their lawful pursuits. Tony

One of the aims of protesters is to get noticed, just like politicians. By getting noticed they can draw attention to their cause, just like the protesters.

There is also the arguement that if the Government had listened to their
points of change then they would make it not necessary to go a rampage.

This in no way excuses vandalism but it does help explain it.

Change often needs protests to make it happen, espically when the people
feel that there is no other way.
