I love how everyone has a negative opinion of why to use a strap. Some people, have pets. Some of these pets are cats. And if you know anything about cats, they LOVE to rub on every fn thing they can. Hence the need for a strap. They can bump a guitar
out of the guitar stand, whereas if they had a band it would stay in place. Trust me I have my guitars bumped out of those without a strap. Funny enough, the ones with a strap, stay standing....
