For those that have bsdgames loaded in Linux and Mystic, you'll find that they work in UTF-8 and oddly XP telnet from shell (which is CP437). This would also include putty by default as it's UTF-8. They don't work from SyncTERM and the like (without font change). I've been playing with
these and the settings for a while, watch out for the ones that shell
out or only offer the games to trusted users.

What are you saying exactly? If I have a bsdgame as a door, none of my Syncterm users can use it? When you say that they work in UTF-8, what terminal are you using?

Putty, Linux telnet, likely can use SyncTERM but have to change the character set (which most won't do).
