    Hey folks, has anyone had issues with the automessage script not honoring the "MaxColumns" value in the configuration? It used to work great, but I think it's stopped honoring the maxcolumns value since the new editor went into effect. I can't recall.

    Anyway, I have a customized automessage display that makes use of a certain column size to fit into the ANSI template, which is why I need to restrict
    the column size of the automessage.

    I did upgrade to the new version of the script when upgrading to the final alpha version of Mystic. The MaxLines still functions properly.

    Yup, your right the MaxColumns isn't working and MaxLines is. I tried it on
    my older backup version of the BBS and set MaxColumns to 69 then made a new automessage:

    This is a test of the new automessage with 69 max. columns, checking to see what that does using the new editor. I think the other Zero Reader is right
    and something has gone wrong with the columns.

    As you can see it isn't stopping at 69 columns, MaxColumns does nothing. I suspect the editor's .ini or .ans or whatever is over-riding the MaxColumns. Minor bug unless you want a different column limit.

    Thanks for checking that for me. I thought I may have screwed something up!

    I'm guessing the new editor may be the issue, unless it truly is something in the MPL that can be easily fixed.
