Hello to the group

I have garbbed usersstat from Castle rock BBS

Made some changes , all was working fine ( in the sysop area)

moved to the Main menu , now the ANS file will not load , I am a little lost

wont load in the main area or the sysop area

all I did was some reformatting so it looked a little better ,

any ideas ?

any ideas why off of a sudden it does nothing ..

I use GV and then the path , as for some reason it did not want to just run userstat ( so it says in the data field c:\mystic\text\userstat

update , even the file I started with will not even load ...

I even restared the BBS ... no joy , think its time for a break , before I break something lol

I would grab another copy of the original ans. What did you use to change the look? Mystic's ANSI editor? Or something external like pablodraw?

I did copy the unmoded one over , and it will not work either

I used the Mystic ansi editor , go figure I was working with it in the sysop worked fine

made a new field in the main menu and CRASH ... now the one in the sysop area will not work either ( changed or not changed)

I believe you want to use GD to display a file.

GD display a file

same thing , nothing happens ( quick redraw of the menu )

Try changing the command to GD. I believe that GV will try to load it in the ANSI viewer, instead of just displaying the file.

At least that's how I have it set up here... :)

If adding a path works, then it's the Theme you need to change it in. The
real paths to stuff are in the theme menus. It's just not pointing to where
the ANSI file is (generally text or where text is for that theme).
