I've just noticed that there are 6 clients connected to the server over here and the all show up as CLIENT just wondering who that might be?

That happens sometimes after the server restart so pretty normal the names
    will resolve in short time.

    Cheers!

MRC tends to crap out every now and then, but I should be connected right
now. I have pm2 currently handling it, hopefully it's not connecting multiple times.

I just downloaded the whole thing. There is a server and client. And mps client.
I wonder aside from configuring the Name of BBS. Should I open given
port to 0.0.0.0/0? That's something I would prefer not to do. Just for
the sake of my good sleep.
However I will take a deeper look at it. Hope it will be something worth exploring. (It definitely will).

    Thanks & best regards

you would want to run the client to fluph.darktech.org:5000

in the mrc_cofig.py you just add your bbs name and then run the client. just follow the instructions.

Sure, lately there have been about 22 clients connected to my server at fluph.darktech.org 5000 But it is either a lucky hit or miss to catch anyone doing any chatter. About every time ..when I pop into mRC nobody else is there!

Yea every now n then I'll hop in see if the MOTD pops up and breathe a sigh
of relief that it's still running. Before if it craps out on me, I wouldn't notice for a while and just plays on my OCD lol. I've just loaded pm2 to
handle everything for me and seems to restart everything if it crashes.

Plus at that time, I'm minutes from heading off to work. Don't wanna start a chat and minutes later be *that* guy and take off.

Went on last night and MaxMouse and Tezca were on but they didn't reply, so I just hopped back off.

Very well. That's what I determined yesterday when I connected. Not much
people around there. But at least I'm connected. I wonder whether there will
be a day I'd have any chance to chat with anyone. In 90's I used to spend
a lot of time on chat. It was quite interesting. And the bills weren't that high despite we had still analog telephone line and only first connection
has been accounted to the expenses. So once I dialed there was a plenty of time.
