  • MUTIL / MergeNodeLists /Unzip

    I've been noticing filesizes smaller than what I was expecting merging three nodelists together.

    I had nodelists with names of the following:

    nodelist.zip
    FSXNET.Z05
    retronet.363

    When MUTIL runs to merge the nodelists, should it be automatically calling up unzip to uncompress the files from c:\mystic\unzip.exe ?

    Without me using unzip manually from the command line, only retronet.363 is merged into the c:\mystic\data\nodelist.txt file.

    Do I need to run unzip from an event?

    Yes, you don't need to call ZIP or anything else. If you're having an issue, set loglevel to 3 in MUTIL and post the log of the process running so we can see where the issue is.

    I should be able to tell exactly what is going wrong based on the logs and
    then we can go from there.

    Posting your actual configuration fort the nodelist section in the .ini
    might be useful too.

    Well, this afternoon I went grab a clean mutil.log file and repeated the
    steps I had been doing last night when I posted. Whatever was happening last night does not appear to be happening now. When I reviewed the log file, it was giving what it should have been doing and the nodelist.txt file in the
    data folder was right.

    Oh well.
