  • NNTP Server A35 Memory Leak?

    I have created an application that will post to message base via the NNTP server. I have noticed that after a few hours, the MIS closes. My code logs into the NNTP server, then logs out. It does this ever minute. So I was thinking maybe a memory leak. Thought you would want to know.

    I changed my code so it only logs in if I have a message to post. This way I won't be hitting the NNTP server very often.

    Thank you for the report but...

    MIS hasn't been in development for a couple of years now (ish?) so there are
    no fixes being done to it. It won't even be in the A36 alpha installation anymore.

    You are welcome to upgrade to A36 and try the NNTP server in MIS2 if you'd like. If you find or have any problems with that, then I will be all ears :)

    not a problem. i was not sure if you were aware and if it was a bug, thought you should know.
