Is anybody having problems getting proto.ans or protob.ans to display? I created a proto.ans file in my text directory, but it doesn't get displayed. I still get the dynamically generated protocol list whenever
I try to do a file download.

I must not be reading the whatsnew completely or would have done this a long while back instead of using the strings. heh. Gonna test this
today and will let you know how or if it works. :)
I don't know if its still a feature or not. It's in the old documentation, but it may have been removed some time ago. If you can
get it to work, please let me know.

Gave this a shot and my strings still displayed, most I can mention
maybe the strings changed with the new versions to replace this file.
You can do a |DF and add the file that way and remove the need for any other strings etc except the prot prompt.

I had considered doing such a thing, but the individual protocols are dynamically created using prompt #061. This makes it difficult to position the text where I want it.

Yeah that is exactly why there is (supposed to be) a proto and protob :)
I'll try to take a look at it tomorrow I have plans this evening and I have been coding all day so I could use a break for the night

It's not a big deal. I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't going crazy. It's happened more than one time when I thought something was broken and it turned out that I was just doing it wrong.
