• Node/User status in menu

Hello all! Just thinking about customizing the way nodes are displayed in
'node status' window, I guess it is doable in each -menu- item, section 'node status' in mystic -cfg - is it correct, or maybe there's another way - maybe most of you modify defaults.txt?

If you are talking about the whos online when someone is online then yes in
the defaults.txt is where you want to check.

If you are talking about the UI from g00r00 then I am certain there is no way to change this without consulting or offering a suggestion about a change.

I have a special 'who is online' menu. In that menu, I have it call an MPL that lists the nodes every time you refresh it. It places the node listing WITHIN the menu, and not above or below it.

Yes go to your menu editor

    Load a menu

Press / to call up that menu's command list

    Choose settings

Update the text in 'Node Status' to reflect what you want the node status to say when your user is online accessing this menu

Repeat these steps for all menus you want to update

    Hope that helps :)

    Best, Paul
