    Ok this is just crazy..
I tried to install LORD 3.55 on Mystic Windows and it just wouldn't fly
the setup was all good. I contacted Mike Ehlert and he whipped up a setup
that finally got the game working by installing it on his system and sending
me his file directories that point the game to a different mystic install with the command line as such:

    DD

    c:\netfoss\nf.bat /N%3 /H%0 \mystic2\doors\lord\start.bat %3

Keep in mind that my Mystic directory is in C:\mystic

The game works fine with this setup!

I would like someone to try and get LORD 3.55 to work on Mystic Windows
without having to go through this strange setup.

Let me know if it works for you. You will need to get a copy of LORD355.ZIP

Did you look at the Windows door install guide for some ideas? Its specifically written to use LORD as an example, although that is version 4.07.

There are some common issues that come up when people install NetFoss and doors:

    1. They don't put NETFOSS.DLL in their system32 directory.
    2. They don't edit NF.BAT to point to the proper directory where its installed 3. They don't edit NF.BAT to include the %1

    LORD specific:

    4. They don't edit start.bat to update their LORD path
    5. They don't properly setup the lord configuration to point to drop files

Yeah, setting up doors can be a pain. Which is why I invited sysops to hook
up to DoorParty years ago, cut down on the hassle.

I enjoy setting them up for the most part, always have. But even I get pissed at them sometimes =)
