From themadtux@21:1/172 to All on Sunday, August 27, 2017 14:33:33
Ok I've been working on my board, logging in remotely and locally. One thing I have noticed is that all 5 of my nodes are stuck with my login on them. Even
    I logout or get kicked.

Node 1 (Unknown - logging in)
Node 2 (themadtux - browsing menus)
Node 3 (themadtux - browsing menus)
Node 4 (themadtux - browsing menus)
Node 5 (themadtux - browsing menus)

How can I get this cleared so it sodesn't show that? It also shows that when I'm legit logged onto the board. Temp folders are clear, semaphore folders
    are clear.

I've also noticed that when they are like that and I'm logged in it shows
that I'm on node 255, yeah I only have 5 nodes.

    Any ideas?

    cheers!

First open a administrator command prompt, cd to your mystic directory and type: nodespy [enter]
It should come up with that list of hung nodes. Hit enter on one and go down
to kill ghost and hit [enter]. Do that for all the hung nodes, then hit ESC till you get out. Try your login again (if you use nodespy do it from there), if it's still hung, hit Control-Alt-Delete click on Task Manager. Go down to the Background heading and look for Command prompts and right click on them
and end those tasks. The telnet session runs under them for each of those ghosted logins and you have to close them before you can login again without them. That will finally do it - I have to do the same under Windows, it's a bug. You should be able to update to A35 with no problems as well (the
preview version), it works as well as A34 at least under Linux/Windows 32/64 bit.
Under Linux it doesn't have that bug with ghosts. Also under x64 Linux you can run 16 bit DOS programs and 32 bit programs with the right software loaded.
You have to be good with command line which is also true for most BBS
    software anyway ;)

That did it. Thanks a ton for the help. I didn't see the nodespy program in the folder. Stupid question but glad I asked.

    Thanks again...
