Also wondering if there is a easier way to load/mount/upload BBS cdroms into the file area.
How are you doing it now?
It takes a really long time to add each directory , some of my disks
have 100 or so areas.
Indeed they do , usually a file.bbs or dir.txt . I can run the import files.bbs or mass upload diz , but importing file location, group z and security levels, area name and what not is really hard via mutil .

Okay I wonder what the contents of dir.txt are...
We need to find a consistant format in order to import the areas. MUTIL already does files.bbs and .NA style files (for areas) but if there is something else that might work, we can look into that too.
I am open to suggestions. The only thing I can think of is to point Mystic at a root drive location and then have it create an area for each message base.< file
The CDMX2 CD-Rom door that I've used for many years was actually built to work with Maximus BBS, or about any other software. All 102 CDR's here
use DIR info text files for all my CD's. Here is a example format.
Mystic should be able to import those already, but is there something
that can define what each area is so those can be imported?
Once everything is imported once, you should be able to just use MUTIL to mark everything as "offline" that isn't actually online.
I can send you a couple of .NA files if that helps.
