I have the latest and greatest version of Mystic (In Windows).
In the Mystic-cfg it does nothing when I select "Logging Config".
My BBS stopped working because the node1.log was over 25Gb making zero space for doing anything.
How can I change the Logging?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Gary

That menu option has yet to be enabled by g00r00

It was for a brief period but for reasons unknown (presume further
development work) it was removed but the menu placeholder left in situ.

To my knowledge there is no control available over the size of the node logs. You can set controls over the logging created by each MUTIL function and you
do that from within the stanza of the MUTIL ini you're calling. Check the
later whatsnew.txt for info on that.

That's about all I can add at this stage....

    Paul,
Many thanks. I kind of figured it was a development thing. It's not a problem. I've set up a .BAT file that runs with Maintenance that will delete the logs. Since my system is running smoothly, I really don't look at those logs anyway.

    Thanks for the heads up.

No probs... yeah watch the SSH node logging I've seen them get big rather quickly in the past but I think g00r00 nobbled the debug code before he took
    a break.

Thanks. I've turned SSH off. I don't trust it to be honest. Don't ask me why, I guess since it's something I don't personally use, I also don't think
a lot of people will use SSH over Telnet. My personal belief, Probably
totally wrong but since I'm usually wrong... Keeping up with norms.. :)

Anyway, maybe when g00r00 gets back, thats something he can tackle...

    Many Tanx

SSH provides security! Plain old telnet is unencrypted. Anyone on the same
wifi can read all traffic in the air, to include username/password stuff.

I understand. But to be honest, who the hell would want to see all that I do on the BBS. I don't see anything that a "Hacker" would gain from it.

But thats ok. I've re-started my BBS with SSH (Port 22).
