    Yep, in FTN messaging you can send mail to someone in particular, although your
    message will be read by everyone and you may get replies from various folks.

    Yes, netmail is private, at least if you send it directly to a node. If it's routed users need to be aware that it is generaly stored as a file along the route at least until it has made it's way through the nodes in the route.

    Mystic has overcome that I think at least as far as nodes in the route use encryption.

    Mystic also has some other security measures in the works along the lines of binkp over ssl. Interesting times.
