I just logged in to the Positronium a few minutes back and was writing the first email to you when it seemed to hang up on me. I was using nodespy on
my end via telnet so not the ssh issue, but it just dropped. I also noticed your spell check is off. I don't know if it was your connection, mine, or
your BBS that dropped, but I'll try later and tomorrow and such to try and help figure out what's going on. I can call with my Pi and ssh, you can call
my Pi bcw142.zapto.org Mystic Pi BBS using ssh (port 22, all standard ports).
I can also call with Win10. I only have ssh setup on my main BBS and my laptop right now (for BBS use) and they talk to each other fine. I'll setup my work system to do ssh out and try with that as well (win10pro). I don't see the problems you seem to have on any I have or had setup with ssh, but I use the hardware the way it is, not virtual box stuff at all. I have used wine,
DOSBox and such, but rarely used virtual box, didn't find it reliable. It tended to crash and loose the image. That was under Linux though, so not really the same.
I will try telnet, ssh, rlogin to your system (if it has all three as mine does). I have no issues with ssh when I get it working, the hacking doesn't bother it as much as telnet and I'm not really sure with rlogin as I rarely use it or look at the logs for it. I do know I get between 10 and 100 tries to connect a minute on most ports on my main system, but they haven't really caused much trouble yet. I get more random attacks on my other systems (AlphaTest at 2323 being the next main one ssh not working there).
Let's see what happens over the next week or so. I have noticed on Win7 32
bit the pick up tends to be slow, but after that is works normally (from my testing on and old tablet with Win7).

Yeah I noticed you as a new user but no welcome feedback reply, but that explains that {chuckle} SSH is broke here and I don't use Rlogin so Telnet is the only thing working. I've had no trouble at all using Netrunner as a telnet client so try that maybe? Who knows what happened, but feel free to try again. If your ID bcw142 is locked holler here and I'll fix it/delete it so you can re-log. Sorry 'bout that ...

p.s. you're welcome to try SSH but my local tests always fail. Let me know if it works! SSH is pointed to Mystic and Mystic will start then lock on graphics mode stuff :(

If your using Windows7 32 bit you need the older cl32.dll from cl3431.zip
and the Visual C++ runtime installed (not part of normal Windows7).
