So I am not sure if I have posted but I'm blind and thinking about trying to run a bbs for fun. Being that I use a screen reader is there a way I can
have mystic display all my menus in a single colum? I also want to get rid
of most of the ansi graphics.

Yes, no problem. It will do signal column if that's what you want. It's in
the settings screen. As sysop you do /* to get to sysop menu, then S for System Configuration, it asks for your password, then tabs across the top
are Configuration, Networking, Servers, Editors. You want Editors, Menu Editor generally default (theme), and account menu will show first. Hit enter on it, then / and the S for Settings. 10 lines down there is Display Cols which is set to 1. So that menu has only 1 column, you can set all of them like that, but may have trouble fitting stuff.
You can change all that, it's just that the account menu is single column by default and what I stated are for a default setup. It can be totally changed and everything setup for single column if you want, but it will be a lot of work. Still once done it's done. You could break the normal sysop menu in to groups and get to everything via single column setup. You can redo the sysop menu totally, at first the most import thing will be Menu Editing which is a number sign by default. You can put it first in the menu and can change how you get there as well as /* maybe harder for you so you can change both inputs to a single number or letter and navigate everything that way. It will make for more and smaller menus, but it can be done just fine. In truth you can make all the menus work by numbers like the very early BBS systems did. I'd think it was easier with the first letter of things, but it can be done pretty much any way you want, it's your BBS.

Yes you can do that but it will take some legwork to modify the screens, prompts, and menus.

We had a blind SysOp a long time ago who made a screen reader friendly theme like you're asking but this was many many years ago.

I am revamping the theme system in the next version so maybe now would be a good time for me to help try to create a blind-friendly theme.
