• SMTP server exception

From CyntaxX@21:4/113 to All on Sunday, February 24, 2019 21:45:52
So I'm almost there. I got my email client on my phone pops up with new
emails sent to me from the BBS. But when I reply it can't get through.
Looking on the mis.log it shows it's trying to send to the correct person but shows SMTP 1-Error 0: SMTP server exception.

I've got Mystic SMTP server set at port 2500, port is forwarded. My email client on my phone has been setup with no authentication to send and without. When I set it to use authentication the client tells me the server doesn't
use authentication. When it's set without auth it seems to accept the
    settings but still no dice.

Okay that looks like a Mystic problem. Is there any other logging alongside that or does it just say that and nothing else?

I'll give it a test with my BBS and see if I can figure out what I broke.

I will try mine also, I have my board sending me my emails on my phone also. Using Port 1100 and 2500, I could have sworn it sends back to the board but I will test it...

Disreguard my last message, he is probably using the new setup of A43 while I am using the old setup from A39.. My phone pulls the messages, but doesn't
send them back if I reply..

It does, but I might have broken something along the way and its not a
feature frequently used (I don't think) so it might have gone unnoticed.

This is the full extent of what I got:

    + 2019.02.24 22:30:51 SMTP 1-C: EHLO Data: [X.X.X.X]
    + 2019.02.24 22:30:51 SMTP 1-C: MAIL Data: FROM: <cyntaxx@digitalwurmhole.ddns + 2019.02.24 22:30:51 SMTP 1-User: cyntaxx Domain: digitalwurmhole.ddns.net
    + 2019.02.24 22:30:51 SMTP 1-C: RCPT Data: TO: <maly@digitalwurmhole.ddns.net> + 2019.02.24 22:30:51 SMTP 1-Error 0: SMTP server exception
    + 2019.02.24 22:30:51 SMTP 1-Connection closed

I obviously changed out the IP as that is my phone's IP but that is the entire error I got.

And it is something I don't really use all that often, just use it mainly to get my mail...
