• Automatically posting latest files to message board?

From 8-Bit@21:2/133 to All on Thursday, August 30, 2018 20:28:48
What are people using to post latest additions to their filebase on a
interval provided say daily or weekly to a message board? I have seen a few boards do this and assuming it is automated. I thought I found a MPL script
but it was just to post latest files locally via a menu command.

    Thanks,

    Corey

There are a few MPL mods about... I think I have managed to hatch a few files out just now and some may be included in that. :)

Do you know the names or filenames? I have searched the Mystic Utility
    Filebase but maybe missed them.

Black Panther has written Mys Tic File Announce. It works with Mystic but I think it will work with other BBSs as well.

I received the file in the mutl file area. I have MTA1563L32.ZIP and MTA1563L64.ZIP here. I'm not sure if there is a windows version.

    Ttyl :-),

I should have read this more carefully. For some reason I thought you were after a mod that would do this for a logged in user via menu command. Whoops
:) If you had been after that there's a mod by Xqtr with a file name of xq-fblist.zip that is one option. Gryphon also made a mod but I can't lay my hands on it at this time.. Hum... [time passes] found it, it's called gy-fslc1.zip

For what you're after something like Black Panthers Mys Tic File Announce
tool may do the trick nicely. Look for MTA1541W32.ZIP or MTA1563L64.ZIP or MTA1563L32.ZIP

    Best, Paul

Will hatch those and the latest windows version I have, I think I hatched an older windows version in error last night..

Thanks all who posted. I will look for the file and see if I can get it
working for me. I am running Linux/Ubuntu 18.04LTS.
