I was blaming network issues, since my BBS is not currently able to connect
to its FSXnet hub (21:2/100). So instead I'm calling from Error404 BBS, which seems to have a working feed, just to catch up.

But I could imagine that stuff might be happening more, these days, now that more things are opening up.

So it does seem that Hub 2 is down, I've sent a message to Solaris - Avon may also take a look.

If you want to play with a second feed via another Hub, you are welcome to play
with it - ie: I can feed you as well from Hub 3.

(Just make sure your BBS can handle dupes, as there are scenarios where you will receive mail twice.)

I've been working on having the dead haunt my BBS for halloween. ;)

Many years ago I was involved in BSBB in Tampa, Florida. It boasted
as being one of the oldest BBSes around. Running on a TSR-80 Model I
with 20 + 10 MB hard drives. Written all in BASIC with some
assembly to handle the serial and terminal emulations.

Actually, it did have a resident ghost. Zack the cat. He liked
sleeping by it (nice and warm), and would sometimes walk across
    the keyboard...

Anyway, starting in October, the BBS would switch over to being
"haunted" by Horrible Harry. Sitting idle at a prompt, it would
display random phrases, "Snicker, Snicker", "Boo!", as well as
ascii ghosts, and a face where the eyes would roll around.
While they did support ANSI cursor codes, they didn't have any
    color.

I've added a few new twists to what the ghosts can do. And you're
not safe in the doors either. Muhahaha!

Check out the harry test site if you want. Feedback welcome.

    bbs.red-green.com SSH 4222 Telnet 4223.

Or just connect and wait about 25 seconds.

    Take care,

Huh, that's all that'd happen? I've certainly populated my dupes base with
    its share of messages.

That said, I'll probably wait a bit longer -- missing out on a couple days of messages on my BBS is realistically not that big a deal, especially when I
can login to another BBS with not a huge amount of hassle.

The redundancy does seem appealing, but any situation where my BBS can get messages is probably a situation where I could telnet into a different BBS
for a day or two. Especially now that my BBS is hosted on a server half a continent away.

week. Being off allowed me to revive my BBS from 80-90's & Setup Mystic also,
so I was grateful for that hobby to keep me going threw all this, now being
back to work, of course the BBS world will suffer, as ones time for it isnt
    there as much now.

Early this year before covid hit, the company I work for was sold to a US company. They initially delayed implementing SAP because of covid.

But we're going through a "remote" SAP go-live, seeing as none of them are allowed to cross the border, I get to be their eyes, ears & "boots on the ground" as they continue their assimilation.

    Fun times... fun times...
