I suspect a lot of people are wondering that in these days of self-isolation. They are finding all of the "what the hell is this" shows on cable, streaming, etc. :)

At my house, I'm seriously considering cutting the cable and going with Netflix, Amazon Video and the free offerings on Roku TVs.
We cut the cord years ago and never looked back. We technically have a basic AT&T cable package, but that's just because it came with our Internet bundle, which was cheaper than not including it. I just unhooked all the Uverse set top boxes, added a better router behind the AT&T one, and it's been pretty good.

Some of them are pretty interesting (Pluto TV) and others are downright odd - one is all old classic science fiction movies and low-budget
monster movies. Old TV series. It reminded me of playing with XBMC,
seeing what free content was floating around on the net, unadvertised.
