    Hi,

    Someone knows how it's possible to see correctly the special characters?

    Examples:

    English: a e i o u
    Spanish: á é í ó ú

    Thanks

    Hmmm this is very interesting, because I can't see them correctly.

    How it's possible? I'm using Mystic BBS in RaspBerry Pi and MultiMail (mailer offline).

    This is my locale configuration:

    LANG=es_ES.UTF-8
    LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8
    LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8"
    LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8"

    OK now here is something weird... I did not see them fine in the original
    post but, when you quoted them back, I sure did! :O

    That is because the original posted by efraim is missing a CHAR KLUDGE for the message. When that happens, our message readers assume a default
    charset for a local display.

    The original post did not look right on my system either.

    But your reply introduced a suitable charset kludge, and thus... this one looks ok for me now.

    PS.. Many of the messages here seem to be omitting a charset kludge.

    I wonder what BBS sofwares efriam and Nightfox are using?

    It depends on both what you are using to post those messages and what you are using to read them.

    I think I am seeing the above correctly here.

    Ttyl :-),
