One suspects if the outlook becomes that dire, and you wouldn't expect that the EU will be able to bale Greece out a second time, that you
might in some fashion lose complete control of your economy. Whether
they take it, or someone has to hand the reins over I would not be surprised if the EU takes it in hand. Or alternatively, the entire EU falls over, and individual members are left to fend for themselves again.
It all ready happened. Many EU countries have closed their borders an even flights to countries that don't share borders. Italy, Spain, Austria, Albania, Greece, Turkey and more, are more or less isolated between them and other countries.
I hate to bring this up...but with the right-wingers dreaming of this happening any way possible...do you think they will be setting up their own places to recreate history of the 1930's?
A lot of things, lately, are similar to the 1930s, even before the corona virus. It seems that we are in a pre-war era, like the people in the 1920s. Even if a war doesn't happen (cause we are so civilized today) we certainly will see dramatic and drastic changes.

Honestly, a month or two of martial law and closed borders could contain this well enough that we'd be able to go back to normal before long. I just don't know how effective something like that would be if the rest

This happens all over the world, it's not just you. Have to have our
eyes open and specially our minds calm and foresee things. This
