Hi,

I'm not sure where to post this.. but I'm interested in running a node for the For Honour game I've been reading about.. So far, I've obtained the source zip and built the source on my Linux based BBS VM. This is my first venture
into setting up Doors in Mystic BBS and I'm not sure where to go from here.. Any suggestions are welcome..

Get the fsxnet infopack, all the setup instructions are in there
(FSX-FH.TXT) minus the latest changes to the forhonour startup parameters.
And you will need Avon to add you to the games.

No quite correct, I did update the FH instructs to remove an old switch no longer required :)

Thanks, I think I got it setup based on reading the FSX-FH.txt. Hopefully its setup. Only thing I'm not too certain about is the door32.sys or door.sys.. I don't know where to get these files, if I need them.. I'm bit confused on
this part.

DOOR.SYS is placed in MYSTICDIR\TEMP[NODENumber]\DOOR.SYS when you execute a program with DD

same thing with DOOR32.SYS but you use action D3

the %P variable contains the path of the node door.sys directory also, so
a menu item launching this door might be

D3
Data: Path\to\forhonour.exe %P\DOOR32.SYS

They are created in the node directory (\temp1, temp2, etc) depending on
which menu command you are using.

For Honour is a door32 aware program so you would call it with menu command
D3 using the commandline something like honour.exe PATHTO\door32.sys

It's only that I thought if I don't hurry up and do that then we're going to have more issues next time someone wants to set up and reads my duff documentation :)

`Made more progress on this, i'm getting a connection error when I try to
enter the game on my BBS. Are there any linux instructions out there to
follow? I have a feeling I've missed something...
