From Al@21:4/106 to Avon on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 11:57:02
    Hello Avon,

Would you be intersted in adding a couple of doors to the fsxNet roster?

I'm thinking of two that I used to have online in the dial-up days that
    were both popular.

Word Warp. This is a game that gives you an 8 letter word to begin with
and gives you a certain amount of time (I recommend 4 minutes) to make up
to 25 words with the letters. You get bonus points for words with more
    letters.

Chain Reaction. This is a word guessing game. The words all chain
together. If your first word is farm the next word might be cow etc. This
game allows users to enter new chains if they wish and if the sysop at
the BBS were they are entered on approves the new chain it will be added
to the local database and sent on to connected BBSs also.

These doors are currently owned by Al Lawrence at sunrise doors and he
offers free registrations for all his doors. They can be found at..

    http://sunrisedoors.com

Some of the doors there are available in 32bit versions but they are all available as 16bit DOS doors. The files at the website are all in windows installers! I had to install wine to get the goodies out!!

Anyway, if anyone would like a plain old zip of these files hollar at me
and I'll send it along to you.

Both of these games are InterBBS capable and quick and easy to setup.

These definitely sound like a fun change of pace. Right now all I really play is Darkness, but I think fsxNet interbbs stuff is never bad.

LOL, I ran into the same issue <grin>, and also have the 16-bit doors now available in ZIP files at the capitolcityonline.net ftp site. Latest versions as of about a month ago.
