    Famous words often repeated prior to Y2K :P

    When I was writing software in the 80s I was not worried about Y2k,
    disk space was at a premium, so we coded 2 digit years saying
    "something will come up much sooner than 2000 for sure"....

    And then I ended up doing several Y2K conversions to 4 digit years :P
