What I like about the Dunning-Krueger effect, is that if you think it doesn't apply to you on something, your knowledge of the Dunning-Krueger is an example of the Dunning-Krueger effect.
(It probably still isn't, but I tend to like the idea that everyone is stupid; it's just a matter of figuring out the topic. And the relative quantity of topics.)
