I are doing a potluck this year, all I've got to make is au gratin potatoes,

It's a cold snap. Normally we would be around around +5 here at the end of December. We might see a few -16 days here.. in Febuary!

Yes, there were bad fires, not here but around here. The town of Lytton Was destroyed by fire. Very little if anything remains of the town. The town of Merritt was flooded just a few weeks ago. I think there will be big challenges for both of those towns now.

30 is nice this time of year. Today was a "cool" 25 :D Expecting 41 on the weekend.

The meal went well, the flight to Hawaii non-eventful. The weather? Horrendous. Rain most of every day we were there. At least it was a warm
rain, but all of our water-based plans were cancelled - can't snorkel when
you can't see through all of the run-off. :(
