  • New Mystic BBS in the planning stages

    Thanking about standing up another Mystic BBS system after the new year. Are you OK with me running two BBS? I was going to place the 2nd on the same VM but only answering on port 2323 .

    I've had as many as 4 systems all going at the same time: Mystic, Telegard, Synchronet & WebJAM. I just ran them all as a point off of my Mystic system.

    If it's going to be more of a permanent thing, you could also apply for a second node number.

    Yep that's totally fine, some nodes opt to run their other systems as points off their main system and have that feed them, but if you want another node number that's fine too :)

    Well, that was my hopes. My plans are to customize this BBS specifically for HAM Radio and Emergency Communications.

    Waiting to hear from Avon to see if he is cool with this on me running two systems completely two different nodes.

    Hopefully, if Avon gives the green light on this, I stand up the new system
    and begin on the custom work on it to gear it to HAM Radio Operators or folks who have interest in it.
