[Pardon if you see this again, Apparently Meat's not been keeping the connection to FSXNET working right and none of my messages have reached you guys - I even tried to break the news about Sir Clive Sinclair about a day or so before it hit here properly. As such i'm trans-scribing my message from
    the 16th or so.]

    Hey all,

Hope you all are doing well - it's been.. what? About 5 months since I came
by here, before I left the scene? I hope all's going well with you all. Meanwhile for me it's been a fair share of ups and downs.

Sister's been a thorn in my ass for long enough so I've decided to move out
at some point with some help from local resources for social services and the sort. Also might be getting a job at Chipotle if an interview i'm due for
    turns out good.

(For the record, I edited this part of the post due to the fact I'd already been in a psych ward for a few days - not going to lie, I needed a vacation!
    :P )

I've also got a few techie projects in the works, including bulding my
ownhome server which i'll be using for live tv, game servers, and maybe at
some point, bringing back NCBBS. It'll be using my old PC's FX-8350 and GT
740 with possibly 16-32 GB of RAM depending on what parts i'll be getting
from my friend Sarrah. I know it's weird to use consumer hardware (especially something as unoptimized for power as FX-series CPUs) but hey, at least with the heat that damn thing puts out, I can cut back on heating costs!

I've also started working on getting MIRAI Group, the gaming organization (Don't really think the word clan fits it really) I've run for years going in
a game I've been playing a lot of lately, VTOL VR - a VR Flight sim in the
vein of DCS, but a lot more simplified with a focus on dear future aircraft like a Navalized F-15 called the F/A-26 and Knockoff F-35 known as the F-45. So far it's been pretty good recruitment wise and the newbies have been more
or less getting along with me and one another.

The past few months have been rough, but I do feel like I've had quite a few realizations to turn my life around in some regards for the better. I've
been focusing on losing weight, learning Japanese, among other things.

But enough about me - what all have I missed since I left?

psych wards... they often get you into more suffering (long term). "medication" might be beneficial short term, but long term it will screw you up. nearly all psychoactive drugs used as psychiatric "medication" change your brain and can create dependence, if you take them for a longer time. and some can induce suicidal thoughts and in the worst case suicide or homicide. i don't want to discourage anyone to take psychiatric "medication". but they don't heal anything or resolve any "imbalance". they are just psychoactive substances. everyone reacts differently. and you can have a bad trip / experience with all of them.

(feel free to just ignore what i've written. i know this topic is controversial).

funny, I always thought you speak japanese. maybe your alias misled my brain ;).

There is a bit of everything.

I think many psychiatrists don't care much for the patient and just drug him up so he stops causing trouble. A psychiatrist's customer is usually either the family of the patient or the government, and more often than not, those want the patient "contained" first and foremost. "Fixed" is just a bonus.

Then there are those who actually care, and you often see people improve under treatment... just never completely fixed.

I know, I am the voice of optimism in FSXnet.

All well here -- busy at work but that's normal!

Sounds like you've been through quite a lot, but using time wisely and going in the right direction.

Keeping fingers crossed that the interview will go fine!

Things have been rather calm here I would say, but lots of new nodes have joined, which is always nice. :)

Business as usual without any big controversies. :)

    Best regards

It's par for the course with the latter, really. Those with mental health issues more often than not have them for life, even with medication and therapy. Some like Autism can be improved if the case is light enough (like mine) but even then there will always be lingering issues.
