You are super talented with programming... but do ask if you have any
questions about DOSBian... simply because I have been playing with it for a while. Getting a complete working Win95 install and HardDrive image was...
    fun. :P

It is super neat; but I sometimes like running an OS and just one of the flavors of DOSBox. Guess it depends on what application you're going for. I
do, however, love booting straight into a 'DOS system'. The guys over on
their FaceBook page are also always willing to help... :P

I dove into NULL, and please don't cut yourself short - it STILL f**kin
rocked, and I appreciate it very much.

I always say I'd love to help, I'd love to write... (and hear others murmur
the same), and never get off the pot to actually DO IT. So - THANK YOU for
all your hard work... I enjoyed downloading and perusing some other zines
from scene.org... I was a heavy 2600 reader, but its nice to jump into
actual BBS/warez/scene zines from the day.

I will... i learned that a new Star Wars (Squadron) game is being released, that is the continuation of SW: X-Wing and SW: Tie FIghter space sims.. and suddenly i have the nostalgia to play them again :) so i will setup a dos machine and also install w95 to play the X-Wing vs Tie Fighter :)

16colo.rs has a great collection of emags and specially some from the 90's are really-really cool!

I don't think that 2600/phrack zines are similar to BBS emags... very
different "character" and honestly most bbs/scene mags, weren't that great.

Did you (and all of you), liked the new top-down / 1 column style? should i keep it or revert to the original sub-menus theme?

Sounds great... there has been some awesome 'recoded' releases and that
    sounds like another one.

As i read, you can use DOSBIAN also as a linux machine, so it would be
the best solution, to be able to use both OSes (linux and DOS). At least for me :)

So... in my experience, altho you can drop down to a linux CLI if you go thru the setup screen and blahblah, but its not very 'workable'. Thats why I was stating in my previous post - sometimes I just prefer a vanilla linux install and putting dosbox, dosbox-x and the other dosbox flavor... its escaping me right now; on the system. Then, with some good tweaking of the .conf files
you get a dosbox install that IMO is nicer than *only* booting into a DOS prompt as with dosbian.

I love it... but find myself using the system I designed more often. :P

Furthermore, two other cool softwares (one by the same developer) are:

Combian 64 - Same as dosbian, but drops you into a commodore 64 experience.

Ambian - Amiga subsystem- you'll still need the Amiga kickstart files and workbench(windows/GUI) or something like Amiga Forever that supplies kickstarts, workbench and a suite of software... but its a great way to do Amiga on a Raspberry Pi.

Maybe some folks, or yourself, are insterested in more emulation. I was a DOS kid, but I'm having a killer time doing the European Amiga-style now. Wish I used Amigas when I was younger.. for a time, before DOS systems takeover of
the computing world, Amiga had the edge IMO.

I like the NULL00A style, for longer articles/sections... but I did prefer
the sub-menus theme. I suppose only because it broke everything up/makes the zine feel larger and lets me consume it in different sections. All things one can do on their own, but... I think bigger is better. However if 1-column
makes it any easier on the developer... WE are OK with any way you prefer to release.

Either or. But the 1-colum style reminds me of facebook
though. Hahahah. The minimal controls make a fine difference
and adds a bit of fun to the reading experience. The previous
menu-style is amazing and no-doubt a lot of extra work. In

BTW.. where can I find the pdf version? I'd like to explore
