What NodeList are you using? NodeList.152 says bayhous.net and returns
    a totally different IP!

First I thought that BINKD.TXT needed to be updated to bayhous.net,
but I checked here, and BINKD.TXT does have the change to bayhaus.net (instead of bayhous.org).

It should be bayhaus.net standard IBN port 24554. Both nodelist 124 & 152 has it correct. Its kinda like knowing your own phone number -" I never call it"...

So Eric and anyone else using an older one needs to pick up a the
    current BINKD.TXT.
    Probably so.

    Take care,
    Janis

    Well, FYI.
I tried to send in my vote direct, but I'm getting a connection timeout to 1:128/2, however, I was able to send and deliver to 1:132/174

Just wanted to make sure it gets to the right place. :)

It was received & counted today by the dreks. But it was odd that the system was timing out.

Yes, I believe it's because BINKD.TXT has not been updated from bayhous.org to bayhous.net :( :( I'll see if I can get Jame to kick out a new one ASAP.

BBBS uses the nodelist, not BINKD.TXT. There are probably a lot of people using binkd mailer with BINKD.TXT sadly enough.

    bbs@filegate:~/binkd$ host bayhaus.org bayhaus.org has address 97.112.133.66

    bbs@filegate:~/binkd$ host bayhaus.net bayhaus.net has address 162.244.71.44 bayhaus.net mail is handled by 0 bayhaus.net.

You need to update your BINKD.TXT file if you aren't using the distribution nodelist. An older BINKD.TXT file may have bayhouse.org. A BINKD.TXT file dated Feb 10 2018, has bayhaus.net :)

I'll check with him, but I was wrong as I noted in a later message. I found I'd done the same thing Eric had, not updated my BINKD.TXT file since I don't really use binkd as my primary mailer ... when I checked in ipfn/i-binkd/BINKD.TXT file, it had the correct entry for Phil.

hopefully he has finally gotten the lastest script and just hasn't gotten the time to work on the configuration...

FWIW: the binkd.txt that was last distributed in I-BINKD on 2018 Feb 10 has bayhaus.net...

Aha... My toss-nodelist script wasn't updating my hub server's nodelist for some reason, with htick's ExecOnFile.

Unusual, but good to know to look into things. :)

Seems to be my htick hasn't been running my ExecOnFile nodelist script for tossing new nodelist.* files, which in turn runs a nl2binkd on the nodelist and HUP's binkd to reload it.

It used to work, why it stopped... Not sure.
