SUMMARY...Heavy snowfall with rates exceeding 1"/hr will continue
across Lower MI for at least the next several hours.

DISCUSSION...Heavy snow (i.e. +SN and 1/4 mi visibility) has been
reported at sites over central Lower MI during the past two hours
with moderate snow reported across the remainder of the region.
Strong low to mid-level frontogenesis is expected to persist for the
next several hours while gradually shifting northeastward. As a
result, the potential for heavy snowfall will continue for most of
Lower MI for at least the next several hours. The heaviest snowfall
(with rates exceeding 1"/hr) is expected to shift from central Lower
MI into eastern portion of Lower MI around 15-16Z.
