    Mesoscale Discussion 1374
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
    0907 PM CDT Mon Aug 27 2018

    Areas affected...South central South Dakota

    Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 355...

    Valid 280207Z - 280330Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 355
    continues.

SUMMARY...The cluster of storms moving across southern South Dakota
may continue to pose a threat of isolated large hail for the next
    hour or two.

DISCUSSION...The earlier supercells have now congealed into a
cluster as they moved east across watch 355. This cluster still has
the potential for occasional large hail for the next hour or two
before it weakens further. Without stronger forcing or low-level jet
support, do not expect the severe threat to continue much longer
into the overnight period. Therefore, a downstream weather watch is
    not expected.
