Areas affected...eastern Nebraska into western and central Iowa
Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 188...
Valid 182246Z - 190045Z
The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 188
continues.
SUMMARY...Isolated severe risk continues from parts of eastern
Nebraska eastward into/across Iowa.
DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop continues to show scattered
thunderstorms in/near WW 188, with most storms generally rather
disorganized. A couple of stronger storms are noted however,
including a cell over Stanton County Nebraska which has
organized/acquired rotation as it interacted with a westward-moving, north-south outflow boundary. Elsewhere however, with a moderately
unstable environment but shear slightly weak for more
widespread/robust supercells, risk for hail and/or wind should
remain relatively marginal and localized.
