The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 176
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat continues through the evening. Short
duration tornado threat for the next hour or two in central and
north central Pennsylvania.

DISCUSSION...Several supercells have formed in Severe Thunderstorm
Watch 176. Recently one of these supercells in Bradford County, PA
has developed a strong low-level couplet and a correlation
coefficient minimum. This cluster of storms with embedded supercells
have deviated to the right of the mean wind. This has allowed this
storm to ingest better low-level streamwise vorticity. While this
was likely an isolated feature, any other storms with deviant motion
should be watched closely for tornadic potential over the next hour.
