    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 259, 260
    continues.

    SUMMARY...WW 259 and 260 are scheduled to expire at 06Z and the
    severe threat is expected to persist for at least a few hours beyond
    this time frame. In addition, storms will develop in between these
    watch areas. A replacement and/or extension will be coordinated
    prior to 05Z.

    DISCUSSION...Within WW 260, a lone supercell has slowly moved north
    across Faulk county. While in WW 259, clusters of strong to severe
    storms continue across the Black Hills vicinity, with more recent
    development having occurred farther northeast across parts of
    Perkins and Ziebach counties. This latter activity appears to be in
    response to a strengthening low-level jet that has now reached 40 kt
    per KLNX/KGLD VWP data. Consolidation into one or more
    northeast-moving linear segments appears increasingly probable
    during the next couple hours. Given the ample buoyancy with 70s
    surface dew points present across much of the warm sector, strong to
    severe wind gusts appear to be the main hazard, with isolated large
    hail also possible.
