IIRC usuper was written in Turbo Pascal and that looks like Free Pascal, there is a bit of a difference

yeah there was some changes back in 2015 that made it free pascal
Release v0.24 3,126,683 September 1, 2015 Source v0.24

Switched to FreePascal compiler
Several crashes fixed
Auto-upgrader for easy upgrades

nm no need to complie i didn't notice the Release button , strange the linux port of the editior is not working but i can use dosbox to run the dos version just fine, the linux port of usurper executiable runs fine lol
